Oryx Gas
We supply Oryx Gas in the full range of available cylinders to fit any appliance. Our large range of cylinder sizes (5, 9, 12, 14, 19 and 48kg) gives us the edge in catering for all kinds of LPG installations.
Oryx cylinders are protected against corrosion and are subjected to strict safety checks at each refill.

Gas Installations
South African law requires that all gas installations be done by installers accredited by the South African Qualification and Certification Committee (SAQCC).

According to regulations that were introduced in 2009, all gas installations must have a Certificate of Conformity in terms of the Pressure Equipment Regulations that have been promulgated under the Occupational Health and Safety Act (No 85 of 1993). According to this regulation, any person who has a liquid gas installation installed in their home must have this certificate, which is usually obtained during the installation phase but can also be obtained later.
If your home is damaged or destroyed as a result of a defective gas appliance and you do not have a valid certificate issued by someone accredited with SAQCC Gas, the insurance implications could be significant. An insurance company would be well within their rights to repudiate a claim, which would have severe financial repercussions for you.
